We did this assembly in class today and the children enjoyed it and engaged well. They all recognised Steve straight away and were excited about what he might be doing. They enjoyed the rope trick and could easily discuss the message of the assembly from it. Some were then able/willing to share emotions they had encountered during the return to school and how they had successfully managed them.
